COT expands NXT nozzle line for new H24 head

Count On Tools Inc., a leading provider of precision components and SMT spare parts, announces the expansion of the Fuji NXT Nozzle Series for the new H24 mounter head. The new high-speed head from Fuji achieves improved productivity over previous models. Standard nozzles from Count On Tools compliment this mounter to provide increased reliability and performance within the Fuji NXT III platform of machines.

The Fuji NXT interchangeable head allows each machine to support almost all surface mount component types and perform both high-speed chip mounting and odd-form component placement. Every Count On Tools Fuji NXT nozzle features the both the original data matrix code and OEM color matrix code for easy identification of the nozzles by the user and the machine software.

Count On Tools provides all standard size nozzles for the following Fuji NXT mounters:

  • H01 – 36mm Disc (1.0mm – 20.0mm; including Compliant and MELF)
  • H04 – 19mm Disc (1.0mm – 15.0mm; including Ceramic, Compliant and MELF)

COT installs new production cell with MAZAK equipment

Count On Tools Inc., a leading provider of precision components and SMT spare parts, is pleased to announce that with the recent expansion of its manufacturing facility, the company has purchased and installed four new MAZAK machining centers to further increase production capabilities and lower product lead times. The new equipment expands COT’s current capabilities into larger diameter parts, including more complex features that can be manufactured with significant costs savings to the end-user. The new equipment includes: three new MAZAK HQR-150MSY 9-axis Multi-task Machining Centers and one new Quick-Turn QTU-200MSY 6-axis Multi-task Machining Center.

According to MAZAK, the HQR Series is designed for high volume productivity, featuring simultaneous first and second operations or balanced cutting/milling through its first/second spindles and upper/lower turrets. The HQR machine configuration directly results in part-processing versatility and reduced cycle times among various operations – ranging from chuck work to the machining of large diameter bar stock. The superior designs of the HQR machines ensure high productivity within a compact floor plan.
