Count On Tools Announces Expanded Series of Fuji XP Nozzles

Count On Tools Inc., a leading provider of precision components and SMT spare parts, now offers an expanded selection of Fuji XP SMT nozzles. The new nozzle designs enable highly accurate, repeatable, optimized chip placement.

The newly expanded Fuji XP nozzles are available in both standard and special nozzle designs for odd-form components, such as LEDs, switches, connectors and more. The expanded Fuji XP nozzle range is guaranteed to function properly with the following pick-and-place equipment: XP142, XP143 and XP242.

“Our objective with this product line is to offer our customers a more cost-effective solution that will perform as well as or better than conventional nozzles. Based on initial customer response, we have seen our nozzles improve both pick-and-place accuracy rates and increase overall machine performance," said Curt Couch, President.

Count On Tools also offers nozzles for the XP141 Series machines.

Count On Tools Inc., a leading provider of precision components and SMT spare parts, recently expanded its manufacturing operations at its Gainesville, Georgia Headquarters. The recent expansion is in response to the growing market for SMT nozzles and consumables.

According to company representative, Zach Shook, COT recently converted 1200 ft2 of additional warehouse space into a new production cell for the company’s contract machining division. Additionally, COT purchased another 20mm Swiss Turning Center byYama Seiki to increase production capabilities and lower product lead times.

The new Swiss Type Lathe offers more flexible operations, such as turning, milling and cross drilling. From a different combination of power systems, main-spindle, sub-spindle, front-end tool, rear-end tool, C-axis and driven tools, enabling the work piece to be completed at one time and allowing two operations to be machined simultaneously.

The industries COT serves count on accuracy of part specifications and on-time delivery of their orders. This new machine will help COT achieve both. Additionally, the new machine handles high-volume jobs faster by providing COT with increased production speeds and faster processing power. "This new equipment produces tight tolerance, precision components," said Shook. "As a result, we can now respond to changing customer needs quickly and at highly competitive costs."
