Count On Tools Inc., a leading provider of precision components and SMT spare parts, is pleased to announce that old, used, worn or broken MYDATA Midas Nozzles can now be exchanged for a new tool at a discounted cost. For every MYDATA Midas tool sent in, customers are eligible to receive a 30 percent discount toward the purchase of a new tool of the same type.
There are two criteria which must be met for an exchange. First, COT must have an equivalent in the exchange inventory. This program is only open to standard tooling, not custom nozzles. This includes the following MYDATA Midas nozzles types: C14, A12, A13, A14S, A23, A24, C23, A34, B34, B24, B23, B12, and C24 Melf tools. Spring suspended precision tools (A23S, A24S, and C23S), flat pipe and grippers are not eligible for exchange. However, customers can still send these excluded items in for a standard rework quote. Additionally, any competitor’s tools are eligible for exchange, including tools purchased directly from the OEM (MYDATA) as well as those purchased directly from Count On Tools.
Count On Tools’ competitive pricing is based on historical repair data and recommended worn part replacement information for each type of tool. All exchange tool prices are 30 percent less than the price of a new tool —up to a $75 savings— giving price sensitive customers an alternative to the expense of a new tool or costly rework of worn and damaged tools.
The program is designed to promote significant cost savings for the end-user by enabling them to recover some of the cost on worn or damaged tools. The new program emphasizes speed and convenience when the need is most urgent. Also, all exchange tools carry the Count On Tools full warranty. Every nozzle manufactured by Count On Tools comes standard with a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee. If any customer is not 100 percent satisfied with the performance or quality of a product, Count On Tools will replace it or offer a full refund. All nozzles are guaranteed to function properly with the original equipment.
The MYDATA Midas Tool Exchange Program is an additional dimension to Count On Tools’ services which offer customers the following:

The new service will replace COT’s previous rework program for the nozzle types mentioned above. Count On Tools will dispose of all exchanged tools in an appropriate manner.
