Excessive torque can cause damage while insufficient torque can pose a safety risk. In electrical work, it is extremely important to be able to control the tightening torque for screws. As a result, the Torque tools with VDE design have been added to the ElectroTool series, guaranteeing safe and controlled tightening of the screws for all electrical work up to 1000 volt AC / 1500 volt DC. The blades are secured in the handle and are not removable like other Torque tool models. This allows them to be coated for safe work on electrical devices.

The PB Swiss Tools Torque VDE series is available in Phillips (#1 & #2), Pozidriv (#1 & #2), Phillips/Slotted (#2), and Pozidriv/Slotted (#2) sizes with preset of 1.40 Nm (1.03 ft. lbs.) for smaller sized tools and 4.5 Nm (3.32 ft. lbs.) for larger sized tools.
