Count On Tools Develops Revolutionary StripFeeder Trays

Count On Tools Inc., a leading provider of precision components and SMT spare parts, is pleased to announce the development of its revolutionary StripFeeder Trays for loading tape-and-reel components on compact modules for high-mix low-volume applications.

The new StripFeeder Trays are a cost effective way to load many components in the machine without having to purchase expensive feeders. The easy-to-install modules are designed for quick loading of tape-and-reel components on existing SMT pick-and-place equipment with fiducial markers for alignment.

The trays are available for tape ranging from 8mm to 72mm wide with many pre-designed configurations to choose from as well as fully customizable widths and pitch based on process requirements. Additionally, the trays enable fast changeover between product runs without unloading from the machine.

The StripFeeder Trays are compatible with both paper and emboss tape simultaneously, and are ideal for low-volume high-mix applications and prototyping. The trays also are compatible with fragile components or loose packaging.
